“Grange is a beautiful parkland course and fairly flat. As a test of golf it’s challenging but fair and you’d have to be well off line to find any punishing rough.
This is definitely a course to play if you’re in the area!
However, that’s only part of the story- the thing that really makes an impression about this club is the people!
The Members are chatty and welcoming, the staff in the clubhouse are lovely but the three young men who have taken over from Nick in the Pro’s Shop are a credit to the club.
Some of our (visiting) party got stuck in traffic and were touch- and-go whether they would make the tee time we’d booked.
A quick conversation with the Pros (some of us were already on site) and they arranged for some club Members to tee off early so that the rest of our group could enjoy their round.

“Jugado dos veces esta semana. Tres profesionales se hicieron cargo recientemente de la tienda de golf. Grandes muchachos, estaban dando lecciones y manejando la tienda profesional entre ellos. Tenía tiempo para todos y una buena carcajada. El campo estaba en condiciones fantásticas, el clima era perfecto y después se comía bien en la casa club.
