“The hotel has a great location if going to the theaters. The rooms, although smaller, are well appointed and very clean. The doorman and bell staff are friendly and efficient. I personally did not check in at the desk my companion did so I cannot rate them. However, they appeared to be very short staffed at the desk as it took 30 minutes to check in, a very long line.
The hotel charges a destination fee of $30.00 and then give you a $30.00 food credit. Unfortunately, that does not cover even the most basic breakfast. The restaurant is too crowded and the staff, although, working hard, cannot keep up with the dining room. It takes way too long to be served and the food arrives luke warm and not very good. It is average at best. Additionally, they charge a 20% gratuity on top of the check. I, personally, am against an automatic gratuity unless its a large party.
Be aware the hotel is very noisy from outside and service staff in the halls. Bring ear plugs.
There are other choices to be had and hotels should not advertise one price only to add on other fees. It was documented on the actual website but it should simply be included in the price.”

“My guest and I were extremely satisfied with our 3 day stay at the Martinique. It was in a great location , just a 15 minute walk from most of our destinations and right next to an entry way to a train. The rooms were clean and quite spacious , I did stay in a deluxe. The best service by far was the doorman. He was amazing and even walked to find me a taxi when I needed. People complain about the $33 dollar charge for breakfast but it was worth it. You could get more than enough breakfast for the charge. If you walk downstairs you avoid the charge for delivery. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.”
