“Tried to stay at the Hampton Inn on 9/13/22 by booking through Priceline. Upon arriving to the hotel and dragging all of our luggage to the lobby, then trying to check in, the attendant behind the counter said there was an issue and they had over-booked and didn't have a room for us. The owner of the Hampton Inn conveniently owns the Comfort Inn around the corner. The attendant said we could stay at the Comfort Inn, with no additional charge. I was 5 hours from home, so what else was I supposed to do? I stayed at the Comfort Inn that night...the door to Room 205 was extremely hard to close, mold on the curtains from the AC unit, and mold on the lamp shade. After contacting the Hampton Inn and explaining my displeasure and requesting that the manager contact me, I haven't even received a call back. All I was asking for was the difference in the price of the stay, but since the same person owns both hotels, I'm not surprised they took my extra money to stay at the Hampton Inn, but booted me over to the Comfort Inn. Difference in the cost of the stay was approximately $40. They lost a customer to both of their hotels. I would not recommend the Hampton Inn or the Comfort Inn in Schererville, IN.”

“Great hotel in a great location. Stayed there for 3 nights. Enjoyed our stay. Everything is close by. Breakfast quality needs to be better. Not everyone eats pork, management needs to understand that and either take pork off the menu or add a substitute meat for all customers.”
